When I retired, I promised myself I would spend a large portion of my time travelling, both around the UK and overseas. So for the last year or so I have spent almost 40% of my time on the road – and I intend to continue this until the money runs out. When I am resigned to sitting at home, penniless, I will re-read this travel blog to raise my spirits.

great to keep up with your journey. can’t believe it’s almost at an end – well, relatively speaking. perhaps more a case of the beginning of the end, or the end of the beginning.
